What do the score states on my profile mean? (Verification pending, Verified · score pending, Building reputation, etc.)

Your profile lives in one of seven states. We pick the right one automatically based on where you are in the journey.

• "Verification pending" — you claimed but haven't finished identity verification. Sync via the Chrome extension, finish Stripe Identity, or sign in with LinkedIn to move past it.
• "Provisional · 14-day window" — you just claimed and verified. We show a provisional number for 14 days while fresh data builds. Moves to Live automatically.
• "Verified · score pending" — you're verified but no work signal has landed yet. Sync a platform, add a vouched project, or collect a verified review to unlock.
• "Building reputation" — you have some signal but not enough verified items yet to publish a credible number. Profile shows "Building reputation" instead of a score.
• Live score — enough verified items, score is published with its career stage (Building → Trusted Leader).
• "Unclaimed · estimate" — unclaimed scraper stub with enough data for an estimated number. Caption reads "Estimated · unclaimed".
• "Unclaimed on LanceRank" — unclaimed stub with no usable score data yet.
