LanceRank uses a closed-review model. There is no public "leave a review" button anywhere on the site.
Reviews only happen when you (the freelancer) send an invitation or generate a single-use link. A random visitor can't drop in and leave you a one-star review. An ex-client you fell out with, a bad boss, a competitor — none of them can damage your reputation here.
Trade-off: slightly less review volume than open-review platforms. Benefit: every review is real, and your reputation is protected from anonymous attacks.
