Why is my platform reputation hidden after I claim?

When you claim a profile, your scraped reputation (Upwork ratings, Fiverr badges, etc.) is hidden publicly until you prove you control the original platform account. This protects the real owner from impersonators with similar names. We call this step Path-C resync — it's the same term you'll see on the in-app banners.

The only way to restore the platform reputation publicly is the Chrome extension — it proves you're logged in as that user on the source platform. Stripe Identity verifies your legal name but doesn't prove platform ownership, so the platform reputation stays hidden until extension sync.

If the extension genuinely can't work for you (you lost platform access, your platform blocks our extension, you're mobile-only), submit a manual review request from your dashboard at /dashboard/platforms with proof of ownership.
