I lost access to my old platform account — what now?

If you can't log into Upwork / Fiverr / etc. anymore (account banned, lost password and recovery email is dead, etc.), you can still use LanceRank — but the scraped reputation from that platform stays hidden because we can't verify ownership.

Your options:

• Manual review: from /dashboard/platforms, click "Can't sync? Request manual review" on the affected platform row. Submit evidence — old invoices, payment receipts, archived emails, anything that proves you're the named person. Admin reviews within 48 hours.
• Build LanceRank-Direct reputation: even without the platform reputation, you can build score on LanceRank itself through verified direct reviews, vouched offline projects, and skill quizzes. One strong platform isn't the only path to A+.

Your identity verification (Stripe Identity) still works — you'll have full access to Pro features, just without the platform badges.
