When you connect a platform, please use your canonical public profile URL — the plain address of your profile page. Examples:
- Upwork:
upwork.com/freelancers/~yourID - Fiverr:
fiverr.com/yourusername(thefiverr.com/sellers/yourusernameform is the same profile) - Freelancer.com:
freelancer.com/u/yourusername - PeoplePerHour:
peopleperhour.com/freelancer/…/your-slug
Don’t paste “Share” links. When you tap a platform’s Share button it adds tracking tags to the address — for example ?mp_source=share (Upwork), ?public_mode=true (Fiverr), or ?frm=…&sb=t (Freelancer.com). These point to the exact same profile, so there is nothing to change — we keep your clean URL, and a request that only adds one of these tags will be declined as “no change needed.”
Don’t use short share-links either. A link like fiverr.com/s/abc123 is a redirect, not your profile address. Submit your full profile URL (e.g. fiverr.com/yourusername) instead.
Moving to a new account on the same platform? If you’ve switched to a different handle (a new Fiverr seller account, say), the cleanest way to point LanceRank at it is to run the LanceRank Sync Chrome extension on that profile while logged in — that proves you own it. For security we can’t switch your connected profile to a different handle from a URL edit alone.
If your platform data isn’t showing after connecting the right URL, see “My platform reputation isn’t showing up — what do I do?”
