My LinkedIn-Confirmed badge — what is it and how do I get it?

The LinkedIn-Confirmed badge is a blue pill on your public profile. It signals that you've proven your identity matches your LinkedIn account.

How to earn it:

  1. Sign in to LanceRank via LinkedIn OAuth
  2. Your name on LinkedIn must match your name on LanceRank
  3. Badge appears automatically — no upload, no review wait

How it compares to our other verification signals:

  • Stripe Identity — strongest proof of legal name (government ID + selfie)
  • Chrome extension sync — strongest proof of platform ownership (you're logged into the source platform as that user)
  • LinkedIn-Confirmed — lighter signal, additive. Good for clients who recognise LinkedIn but don't know our other methods

LinkedIn-Confirmed is additive — it stacks with your other badges, never replaces them.
