How do I change my profile URL (custom URL)?

Go to Settings → Profile URL.

On the Free tier you get an auto-generated slug (lancerank.com/random-handle). On Pro you can pick a clean custom URL — lancerank.com/your-name.

What happens when you change it:

• We add a 90-day redirect from your old URL to your new one — existing links to your profile in proposals, signatures, and LinkedIn don't break
• Search engines update gradually as they re-crawl the new URL
• Limit: 1 URL change per 30 days. This is to prevent abuse and to give the redirect time to do its job before another shuffle

If you need to change the URL more often than the 30-day rule allows (for example a legal name change), email support@lancerank.com and we'll do it manually.
